Our Supreme Court has become the biggest offenders of grifting. Thomas and Alito should surrender themselves to jail and finally do something good for our country.

I'm sorry to say it, but IMHO Justice Thomas is pretty solid evidence that affirmative action and DEI can be problematic. He got there by the color of his skin, much like the guy running for Governor in NC (Robinson) and the House Rep from FL (Donalds). Evil racist parasites come in all colors, and good social policies can be abused by Republicans to advance their cause.

Remember one of the old liberals who were afraid to oppose his getting a seat on the SC was Biden. I think he's learned his lesson. If he has a second term, I hope SCOTUS ethics reform and rebalancing (adding four seats) will be a top priority once they get rid of the filibuster.

That picture says it all. This is not a supreme court justice and his wife, it is a picture of two people who are in it just for the grifted benefits that come with the position.

Maybe from your mom, one each for birthdays and Christmas. Oh and you have to make it to 52 and she has to still be alive.

Otherwise it's definitely either sexual or shady in origin.

What good is ascending to the scotus and taking away people’s rights if you can’t get rich off some sweet side sugar? Ginny ain’t staying with Clarence for his power and influence alone. She needs to be pampered, while she texts the White House chief of staff to ignore the results of an election.

Her consulting consists of, “lay some sweet swag on me and I’ll mention your cause to C-Daddy.” But that would be influence peddling, and Republicans would never.

She needs to work for that money like Jane Roberts, who at least works at a law firm and everything like a real lawyer.

I was surprised when Thomas didn't take John Oliver's offer of $1 million a year for life, along with a $2 million dollar motor home. Now I know why--it wasn't enough to equal his current compensation level.

For sure. Motor home? Pfftt. He wants a 𝘱𝘳𝘪𝘷𝘢𝘵𝘦 𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘦 guys, he already has a motor home. He'd ask for a chopper, but Ginni might get motion sickness.

Gee, I wonder why public opinion of the Supreme Court is as such an all-time low? And a SCOTUS ethics code? Bwwaahaaahaaa! No need for that now, is there? Oh, and just a quick aside, Fuck you Clarence Thomas.

For years now physicians have been forbidden to accept ANY gift from pharmaceutical or medical equipment reps, not even food, because it might give the impression that the docs are promoting this or that drug or treatment for personal gain. (Even having a pad of scratch paper with some company's logo on your desk or workstation is frowned upon.) I can absolutely guarantee that primary care doctors work FAR longer hours for less pay while carrying more debt than a member of SCOTUS does (173 K would have been an unthinkably high salary for a primary care practitioner back then.) Maybe it's time to hold appointed "justices" to the same standards for the same reasons.
