Current African American starting QBs in NFL: Deshaun Watson, Lamar Jackson, Jameis Winston, Dak Prescott, Russell Wilson, Kyler Murray, Patrick Mahomes, Cam Newton.
And those are just the starters (that I can think of). There may be more and that doesn’t include backups.
I’m a niner fan and watched all his games. Kap got exposed quickly as a QB that can’t make nfl passes. Once the read/option gimmick got figured out by opposing teams, he regressed to the point that the niners stopped asking him to do anything other than short and simple one-read plays. Unsurprisingly they lost, and lost a lot. That’s the main reason he’s not in the league.
