Every teacher here can tell you - there is a grade-level curriculum that nobody has time to get through by the end of the year. No teacher has time to veer so far off course that they have time to explain CRT to kids. There's barely time for Ruby Bridges and the only MLK they get is "I have a dream". Everyone is too busy trying to teach middle schoolers what a comma is.
