A Wonkette operative on the campaign trail observes that some reporters are more equal than others. . . or wish they were:

Lots of gnashing of teeth among TV journalists since we got in to Waco last night [Friday].

Two wire writers and one wire photog have Mercedes rental cars (it was the rental company's decision. apparently it's Parents' Weekend at Baylor and all of the regular cars were rented).

ABC's Jonathan Karl and NBC's Norah O'Donnell have both whined and stamped their feet because they did not get Mercedes.

Well, they do say that journalists should reflect the values of the people they cover.
