I wonder if we could get a law passed that makes it illegal to open carry or concealed carry if you are also carrying a flag that represents a nation (real or imagined) other than the US flag?

I readily grant that economic and community circumstances have a strong influence on the personalities that people grow into. I even concede that the no-free-will folks have got some powerful arguments, including some tentative experimental evidence. I still reject the premise because (1) it's too fucking depressing, I don't want to be an ant; and (2) I know of instances where people* have been assholes, learned from the experience, and decided not to do that again.
So, I am sort of on Team Personal Responsibility. Does that make me a Republican?**
I think you are being too pessimistic about this. If we spin it to suggest that it will prevent traitors from carrying weapons while be traitorous it might have a shot. So to speak.
