Unions built the American middle class Never forget that. Without them, we'd all still be working 80 hours a week for pitiful pay without any benefits, wearing rags ,living in hovels and vermin infested tenements No workman's comp, no unemployment insurance, no retirement plans, no safety measures no nothing!! Seems that a lot of young people are just not aware of any of that. Union dues are not an expense, they're an investment.
EDIT: I meant to post this on the Disney witch story but shit, it's a Monday!

"The last step the Elite wants to use to reduce the population is by removing genders. That is why we see the explosion-out-of-nowhere obsession with transhumanism. The goal is to remove human reproduction.
Children are bombarded with transgender propaganda to confuse their self-identity. The media, government departments, medical professionals, and academic institutions enforce it.
We have no-gender toilets and the banning of male-female terms such as boy and girl, mum and dad.
Sperm counts have been falling. This stage is in preparation for the synthetic human due to chemicals in foods and drinks"
We all have a little bit of a crush on Shawn Fain, Robyn.I don't wanna do snuggles with him or anything, but I'd happily buy him a beer any ol' time he likes.
Excellent article. Great for the UAW (Shawn Fain rocks) and it'll be good overall for the general economy when more workers have more $ to spend. I hope it does influence other companies to consider paying higher wages when many are earning RECORD profits and RECORD Executive Compensations. Let's keep the ball rolling towards Roevember!!
Right? It's like, where do you think "consumers" are coming from, who do you think your customers are? (answer: they don't actually think in terms of "who is buying our units," c-suites are all trained to think of themselves as financial product pushers-- their product is "number go up" and their customers are the shareholders, who don't think about where the money comes from they just want more of it)
Good points! They (Sr Mgmt) only answers to the investors at the top and once they start losing investors, their own jobs are in jeopardy and they can't have that happen. That'll affect their compensation and bonuses, vacation houses and boats. I think, in general, as long as they push out a product at competitive prices and meet safety requirements, they'll retain customers. These sound like work vehicles, not cars or personal vehicles.
Got my eye on the 2025 Camry, which are going to be all hybrids. They're built at a plant in Kentucky, and I'm hoping the UAW is working on a contract there too.
A few days ago here, I posted a semi-rant about the Trumpian bullshite on 'bringing back manufacturing' ... one line in that spoke to what you have to do to excel in manufacturing:
The people on the floor know an awful lot about making whatever it is you're making - they are not interchangeable resource units. They need to be part of the team, and at the table.
Tell the M-D business assholes who deliberately retooled Boeing from an engineering firm specializing in aeronautics to a cookie-cutter share price driven corporation. That was a deliberate choice and we all see what happens.
"Some might even be a little afraid that if they don’t, a union will come for their asses as well — and that’s exactly where we want them."
❤
HUZZAH!
Another big win for organized labor.
Just what the unions need an old school take no prisoners leader like Fain. Bought freaking time. Need to see more of this.
Ta, Robyn. Solidarity forever.
I thank God for the union everyday.
What happened to "Look for the Union Label" ?
"We work hard
But who's complaining…"

WTF? Synthetic Human is my Ska-metal bands name...
I have a no-gender bathtub too. And the shower is bi!
WOKE!
So the shower is fun for everyone!!
Um, I don't recall my kiddo being banned from saying "Mooo-OOOM. Stop talking to my friends!" We must have missed the memo.

If snuggles is what it takes to keep the union train rolling that snuggles it is. (P.S. I like snuggles in general).

I have long said that if corporations could make money by murdering both their workers and their customers, they would.
Sometimes they have, because safety cuts into profits!
Or that part that keeps the car from exploding costs an extra 1 penny a car. So expensive!
Bbbbbut my vacation home in St. Croix. How am I ever going to afford my vacation home if less profits costs me my profit sharing?

"that dream is now being crushed"
WHY DOES THE UAW HATE 'MURRIKKKA??
(OHJB did that, BTW)

so I'm all for this.
