Why do Republican gheys exist, or Republican blahs? Is it a self-loathing thing, or just sheer naked opportunism?

Does anyone, anywhere, listen to anything Louie Gohmert has to say? I mean we all know Louie is stupid. REALLY STUPID! He's like a wet bag of rocks kind of stupid, but it's more than that. Just look at his photo at the top of this article. That man has something demented going on in him. He's got an overall kind of "Slingblade" look about him with just a hint of Ed Gein around the eyes. I would not be surprised to find him relaxing around his home wearing the shell of his Aunt Emma as a housecoat, while working on his special little taxidermy projects. Not that I'm judging, I'm just saying, if you know what I mean.
