You can't give people a taste of playing dress-up and then try and tell them to stop. Good god. It gets in your blood. Ask any theater person.

Hey, people still came to see Elton John after he stopped wearing Donald Duck outfits, right?

Exactly -- the Crazee is HIS trademark. Don't infringe on it. He may have to sue Cristine O'Donnel, at this rate.

Glenn lecturing people about being out of touch is kind of like the Pope instructing women on oral sex techniques. It just ain’t right.

What's even more embarrassing is when they dress up as some really obscure colonial person who no one has ever heard of and they have to spend all their time explaining who they are. And they only end up looking like some dumb schmuck in a tricorn hat anyway.

Say, what about wearing East German police uniforms? Is that still OK?

On his web site Beck humbly placed his 8/28 rally in the same significant category as Moses and the Ten Commandments, the moon landing, the Montgomery bus boycott, Iwo Jima, the signing of the Declaration of Independence, and other landmark historical events.

Obviously people in silly costumes denigrate him and spoil the historical record that will be studied by generations to come.
