Hey, remember that hilarious time when Paul Ryan and Kevin McCarthy got caught on tape joking that LOL, Donald Trump and Congressman Dana Rohrabacher were totally on Putin's payroll? WaPo got the goods:
"There's two people I think Putin pays: Rohrabacher and Trump," McCarthy (R-Calif.) said, according to a recording of the June 15, 2016 exchange, which was listened to and verified by The Washington Post.
Rep. Dana Rohrabacher is a Californian Republican known in Congress as a fervent defender of Putin and Russia.House Speaker Paul D. Ryan (R-Wis.) immediately interjected, stopping the conversation from further exploring McCarthy's assertion, and swore the Republicans present to secrecy.
It's funny 'cause it's true! ALLEGEDLY. Earlier this month, CongressmanLubyankaRohrabacher told Fox reporter Elex Michaelson that DNC hack was obviously an inside job.
.@RepRohrabacher says the Russians didn’t hack the DNC, as US intelligence agencies have claimed. “We know it was… https: //t.co/EYlazk6e3L

Don't want to watch the clip? It said BlahblahSERVER. BlahblahMADEUPTECHWORDS. BlahblahLIBERALMEDIA.
Would the Congressman care to revise his remarks in light of last week's indictment of 12 named Russian hackers in the employ of the Russian government? No he would not!
WaPo reports,
The explanation of the indictment is so complicated and technical that it is hard for anyone to judge whether it's accurate," he said. "There are experts that will be able to judge whether it's accurate. I know that there are a number of intelligence agents, people experienced with this area of technically, the VIPS. They're experts in cyberwarfare. I plan to talk to them to see if the information provided in the indictments is something that they are willing to accept as possible as compared to what they said in the past."
Cool acronym, Bro! But who might these "VIPS" be?
Well! They're a very, extremely reputable and totally serious and unbiased group of tech experts, who most certainly do notorder that Alex Jones trucker speed off of Infowars at 2 a.m. That's why they're called the Veteran Intelligence Professions for Sanity, aka the VIPS. A year ago they dropped this "memo" on Donald Trump PROVING that the DNC hack was an inside job. So, naturally Comrade Rohrabacher knows the FBI is not to be trusted when they say that Russian hackers stole emails to harm Hillary Clinton.
Because, who ya gonna believe -- the FBI or the VIPS?
Besides which, Julian Assange pinky swore to Rohrabacher that he's got proof it was an inside job. All he needs is safe passage to a country with no extradition treaty to the US, and he'll be able to turn it over. Rohrabacher told Fox's Michaelson,
I went to Julian Assange of course to talk to him personally, the guy who of course disclosed all of these emails, and he adamantly said the Russians weren't in it. [...] And, by the way, if we could in some way guarantee that he can get out of the Ecuadorian Embassy, he said he told me he has absolute proof, just actual, not just words, but he's got proof that the Russians did not hack.
UH HUH.
We can't help but notice that Dana Rohrabacher's name keeps coming up in the Russia investigation. Even though the powers that be in his own caucus have kept him far away from the House investigation of Russian interference in the 2016 election, for some reason.
And yet, just this week, his name came up in the indictment of Russian gun sex spy Maria Butina.Well, not his name exactly -- he's on the downlow, just referred to as "US Congressman."
Yesterday Rohrabacher confirmed to the Daily Beast that he did take the August 2015 trip with Butina and Alexander Torshin.
Was Rohrabacher ensnared in Butina's sexy honeypot schemes? We have our doubts. But we'll wait to see if he changes his avi to match the Russian Foreign Ministry's.

In April, 2016 Rohrabacher was back in Russia, this time to meetwith Kremlin "informant" Natalia Veselnitskaya. Why yes, sheis the lawyer from Don Jr.'s infamous Trump Tower meeting! Heckuva coincidence, huh?
Rohrabacher dutifully returned home and dedicated himself to getting Bill Browder to appear before Congress so he could confront him with "evidence" that the Magnitsky sanctions were based on a fraud. Yes, REALLY.
And while we're on the subject of which Congressman may or may not be paying his bills in rubles at the Congressional commissary ...
Remember Paul Manafort's little buddy Rick Gates? Remember how he lost his damn mind and lied to Robert Mueller's face during the proffer meeting to negotiate his plea deal? Here, let's refresh our memories with a looksee at the indictment.
Three guesses as to which "Member of Congress" got real chatty on the subject of Ukraine with Paul Manafort and the lobbyist!
DING DING DING!! it was DANA "PUTIN" ROHRABACHER.
Why was Rick Gates so shit-scared that he lied to the FBI about that meeting, causing his own lawyers to dump him for pulling such a dangerous stunt? Dunno! But we're pretty sure it wasn't to keep Congressman Rohrabacher's prize blintz recipe under wraps. And this shit stinks worse than week old borscht!

Well, they don't have lead-based water like in Flint, so I'll go with your theory
OK, so I admit I'm cheap. And I use coupons and always look for the best deals. So how do I claim my free Maria Butina and is it one of them BOGO deals? But I know there's always a catch on these offers. And how much does it cost to purchase a U.S. president and didn't the Koch Brothers and the GRU already buy up the available supply?
