Dave Weigel Joins Local Webzine

You know those "Kaplan special education" booklets or whatever that you buy for kids who aren't doing too good with the book learnin'? Well, turns out that company also publishes a local newspaper, theWashington Post. The paper had recently fallen on very hard times, because its whole staff was basically made up of feeble old wingnuts who type their "opinions" about whatever brown people's country needs to be nuked by Dick Cheney. Was it time for a change?

Like Kaplan itself, the WaPo has apparently decided Youth Is Our Future. So they hired famous Teabagger-beat Reporter David Weigel, who goes to all the scary/tragic Tea Party cosplay rallies and gun-nut festivals, and who is now the new Bob Woodward or Carl Bernstein. [ Washington Post ]
