To get the rube vote, just about any candidate—especially for governor—has to promise he will use his God-given democratic/dictatorial powers to do do just about anything he wants. Eliminate abortion, cut taxes, school vouchers, name it, he’ll do it. And ain’t nuthing no lejislatur gonna do about it!(See recent California failed recall for prime examples)
