Dean No Match for Miss Beazley

The Dems let Howard Dean off-leash yesterday for a fifty-minute romp with Tim Russert, but it appears that the former governor has been taking obedience lessons. Except for a few nips at Tom DeLay and Rush Limbaugh, he was surprisingly well-mannered. Elsewhere, freedom is on the march on the White House's South Lawn, where Miss Beazley is keeping the President safe from negativity and obstructionism. Good doggie.— GREG BEATO
