Another Saturday, another trip to the comments queue! We never know what sort of detritus we're going to fish out, but we can always guarantee that it would benefit from a few passes with a high-pressure steam hose. This week, we don't seem to have any overwhelming theme, just a mixed grab bag of stupid.

'Sokay, but you gotta ease your way in. Take care not to go too many levels up into the meta in your posts because the rest of us may not be able to follow your trail so far past the treeline. You don't want to leave everyone thinking "What. Was. That???" This is especially true if you are new here and nobody has a good sense yet of where you are coming from. So keep things a little bit plain and conventional at first while you give the rest of us an opportunity to get to know you.
The need to head off <i>any</i> regulation (the camel&#039;s nose sneaking through the tent flap) would be much clearer if the National Car Association hadn&#039;t fallen down on the job.
