Another Saturday, another trip to the comments queue! We never know what sort of detritus we're going to fish out, but we can always guarantee that it would benefit from a few passes with a high-pressure steam hose. This week, we don't seem to have any overwhelming theme, just a mixed grab bag of stupid.
How could you do this to me? On national television! I haven't seen you my whole life and now you just show up and *expect* a relationship? I hate you. What?
Oh, and a trillion's more than a billion, numbnuts.
'Sokay, but you gotta ease your way in. Take care not to go too many levels up into the meta in your posts because the rest of us may not be able to follow your trail so far past the treeline. You don't want to leave everyone thinking "What. Was. That???" This is especially true if you are new here and nobody has a good sense yet of where you are coming from. So keep things a little bit plain and conventional at first while you give the rest of us an opportunity to get to know you.
The need to head off any regulation (the camel's nose sneaking through the tent flap) would be much clearer if the National Car Association hadn't fallen down on the job.
"Most of Nasheed’s critics have called her a hypocrite, because only a maniac could support regulations on owning or operating guns while still owning a gun."
Like the NRA used to. Before the paranoid rightwing fucknuts took it over.
Racist racists are racist.
I blame Obama.
Welcome, Sir (or madman), Glad we got it sorted out. We stock the brain bleach in the coffee room. Or maybe that's the gin.
Obamaghazi!
Smurfs.
Let anyone who has never posted a comment long after the article was put up cast the first downfist. .... ....
Uh-huh. Thought so.

I had the same thought, FZ. But I wasn't quite sure what the gist of it was. I had trouble decoding it.

Hey, I like the adopted-out sister site! The attitude is just right and the writing is really good. Plus I can keep up with the Duggars.

I went to find it anyway, thank you for the suggestion!
Steve Aylett, is that you?
I remember when it was usenet, and almost everyone on there was intelligent and thoughtful.
Well, except for the flamewars.
