I go with lost cause, but who knows? I'm pretty over the Democratic Party and their play it safe attitude lately. Maybe they will do the opposite just to spite me and sink a few bucks and some groundwork into it. I can't imagine Alabama Dems feel an overwhelming swell of love from the DNC.
So the big suspenseful thing is whether the entire state of Alabama will elect the grafter/grifter/grater as a senator. After all, Alabama has thrown out perfectly fine people before, after a ton of fraud and voter suppression and criminal behavior (Don Siegelman)
Yeah, that was back in 1984. (DAMN, that was a good year for movies!) It is one of the best science fiction movies made. (Please note that I did not say "sci-fi". Difference.) Back then, Spielberg was still in his Eyes Of Wonder phase, and the attitude about visiting aliens wasn't nearly so paranoid.
How many of his precious Ten Commandments did Moore break with this little oopsie? I joked the other day that the man who has them posted in every room of his house must worry he'll slip up and commit murder if not constantly reminded that his god is agin' that, but maybe I was right. Hey Roy, you could probably fit 5 on the palm of each hand, and tattoos are only forbidden in Leviticus, so it's fine!
