Perhaps it would be less offensive to call Haley "Nimroda".

As if my faith in humanity wasn't already down the toilet, through the P-trap, and out into the septic tank where it is slowly dissolving... Now I know of about what? 20K? 30K? moronic fucking idiots who like to watch cars fly off of a cliff, and in a beautiful pristine setting no less. Humanity? Where the fuck is that? Luckily I work in a school where I watch dedicated people exhibit endless compassion and patience for some of our most vulnerable citizens. Jesus H goddam Kryst.

Within the past 24 hours DeSatan mocked men wearing what he called a man dress.

"'When I was in Iraq, al Qaeda wasn't wearing a uniform,' said Florida Gov, Ron DeSantis. 'You'd see anyone walking down the street ... they all had man dresses on.' He compared it with his time when he served as a lawyer with the U.S. Navy."

I guess DeSatan forgot about these guys:

His first job was providing legal cover for people being tortured in Gitmo. I think we should have a President who is not a war criminal. By which I mean a Democrat.

And he SMILED as he watched. Suspects. Not indicted. Not convicted. Just, "suspects". Tortured. Smiling. Fucking inhuman asshole. I am so glad I can fucking swear here.

I despair of a country that would consider for even a millisecond electing any one of these yelling, juvenile toadies (that means you too, Nikki!) to try and lead it anywhere but straight into a dumpster fire of their own making.

Fair enough, thanks. But why is he so reprehensible? He’s just a troll. I guess there’s a large enough segment of R voters that get off on that?

Reading Murderbot is a much better use of time.

Murderbot has more humanity than these assholes.

Even though it was only about an hour ago, at the beginning of Jerk Crapper's CNN shitfest, there was a clip of Chris Christie and another clip of Liz Cheney both talking about having out Trump for a long time.

Then Jerk Urinal Licker said (I KID YOU NOT) ''meow!" as if these two were having a cat fight. They were not even in the same place.

That should've been the moment that fucking asshole be kicked off the top of the CNN building.

It was not NEWS of ANY sort, and I did not know that it was becoming Romper Room at CNN.

Tapper lost me months ago. Prolly later than was prudent. Fkn toady. He somehow manages a look of performative concern, as well as being genuinely smarmy.

Rama-cetera is absolutely right about inside job. It's easy to find the testimony.

"According to Rosen and Donaghue’s testimony, Trump told them to “just say the election was corrupt and leave the rest to me and the Republican congressmen.” At the end of the hearing, the committee publicly exposed that many of those Republicans in Congress—Reps. Louie Gohmert (TX), Matt Gaetz (FL), Scott Perry (PA), Mo Brooks (AL), Marjorie Taylor Greene (GA), and Andy Biggs (AZ)–asked the White House for a presidential pardon."

I read the comments of NYT, which felt calm like telegrams, then I read the new Murderbot book.

Just when I think humans can't get any more stupid...

That's entertainment bub!

(The car thing was pretty dumb too, but still not close to what's happening in politics.)

The car thing was awesome! And exactly the metaphor for the GOP: Hold my beer (or blended wine) and watch this!

But it ignores both the history of European antisemitism — it’s quite long!

Among the reasons for Europe, England, and the US to support a homeland for the Jews in Palestine in the 1920s was so that they didn't have to let them make a homeland in THEIR neighborhood.

Is it hard celebrate the birth of a Jewish baby 2,000 years ago in Judea who visited Jerusalem and also pretend that Jewish people just totes moved into Israel in the 20th century?

Like how do you hold those ideas in your head at the same time? Does it hurt?

It's so utterly pathetic how none of them but Christie dare to even mention Trump, except for an occasional feeble, meaningless critique "from the right." The others stuck up for him! It was amazing and appalling to watch. There was barely enough material among them to make up a single spine.
