It's always funny watching conservative hacks try to pin Nazism on progressives/socialism. You mean the party that fought communists, was made up of disenchanted right wing former military pals, sucked up to business, eventually worked with conservative parties, and was brought into government by conservatives was really a LIBERAL!?
Well, good for him. I was kind of riffing in my head about "penis as dangerous snake" when I had that Coulter thought. Get 'em all out of here!
Have you ever looked at Contra Points on YouTube? There's one that explains postmodernism (and Jordan Peterson) that's fucking hilarious. The author of the video is Natalie Wynn, trans woman, philosopher, hardcore intellectual.
He couldn't even get the title (not subtitle) of Zenn's book right. It's "A People's History of the United States", not "A Progressive History...". Unless Foner has a book with that subtitle that I haven't heard about.
internetking, when my husband and I used to work for the Village Voice, we called that kind of thing a "Village-ism" (instead of a syllogism).writer = goodthings the writer likes = goodjazz music = extra good (because cool, because nobody understands it)things the writer likes = jazz
It wasn't about trans people (from my perspective, anyway). But I took it down because these days it's really important to be on the side of the good guys.
D'Souza is the reaction to the over reach of the Progressive (Democrat) movement. He will sway the ship back in the way he knows how. His documentary exemplifies this. He is using the tactics of the Left (emotion) by favoring Republicans historically. Plain and simple and necessary. Politics is an ugly game. Big government has always been the problem because they think they can manipulate the business cycle with political strategies. The Left by welfare and the Right by warfare. Disgusting business for any thinking person.
See, I'm a tad young for that, but I have heard that it was not always the fucking petri dish it is, now. I did not, however, hear that it was silent... Apparently the new BART cars are supposed to be...
I didn't know it was to do with trans people-- I thought it was 'Wonkette dick joke crazy hysteria,' so with that understood, can I say I had a lot of fun reading the words "that isn't funny" and the reply, "yes it is."
I really think the D' (stands for douchebag) Souza is an idiot. His parents must be so proud of him.

He called Princess Diana Gregory.
yah. Being on maternity leave has given Dok an almost actually feminine sensitivity.
...because Lee joined the Confederate army, dummkopf.U.S. Grant was our man. I mean, unless you're flying a Confederate flag outside your house.
Of course, though there was a lot of sodomy in the version I heard.

Supposed to be silent? That would be so nice.

That's a feather for your cap.
