A timeline of Trump response to Puerto Rico.

Army Lt. Gen. Jeffrey Buchanan, who was named this week to lead recovery efforts, told reporters Friday that there were not enough people and assets to help Puerto Rico combat what has become a humanitarian crisis in the aftermath of the storm.

The military has significantly stepped up its mobilization to the island commonwealth, with dozens more aircraft and thousands of soldiers bringing “more logistical support” to a struggling recovery effort that has been delayed by geographical and tactical challenges.

The storm-related fatalities are mounting with each passing day, and official numbers are not counting patients who are not receiving dialysis, oxygen and other essential services.

I was born in the UK and became an American citizen a few months before Ronnie Ray Gun invaded Grenada (the country where man my father was born.) It took him less than a week to deploy soldiers to that tiny island and it is 600 miles south of Puerto Rico. Needless to say I've been ambivalent about my citizenship ever since and Dotard Donnie Two Scoops is exacerbating that conflict, bigly!

The top Democrat on the House Oversight Committee and the Virgin Islands’ representative in Congress on Friday called for an “emergency” hearing on the Trump administration’s response to this month's deadly hurricanes.

cholera has now reportedly begun to spread in PR. without access to fresh, clean water, you have about 3 days- that's under ideal conditions, not heartbroken, stressed out in 100 degree heat. tetanus and other good old fashioned killers are going to make an appearance also. the time to respond was when irma was approaching the island. of course the loofah faced shitgibbon in the peoples house only cares about that soulless apparition that looks back at him from the mirror.

Don't worry. There's always an excuse or exception that fully vindicates all involved and assigns blame to a faceless 3rd party. It's the Republican way. Personal responsibility is for other people.
