The old standards don't work, either, necessarily. For example, " there but for the grace of God go I" makes it clear that the speaker's privilege is God's grace, which was denied the person born with the wrong skin color, hair type, bodily orifices, and so on.

A real God-botherer knows that grace does not mean God loves the prosperous and helped them exclusively.

I like intellectuals. The really good ones understand how those multisyllabic Greek, Latin, and sometimes Hebrew roots carry nuances, and preserve those nuances. The great ones use one-and two-syllable words, and metaphors, for the rest of humanity.
