A five year statue of limitations for something like this is way too short. And Bill Barr needs to investigating for interfering with a criminal investigation.

"When the full extent of your venality, moral turpitude, and political corruption becomes known, you will take your rightful place as a disgraced demagogue in the dustbin of history. You may scapegoat Andy McCabe, but you will not destroy America...America will triumph over you." - John Brennan, former CIA director on Trump.

That Billie Barr, though, with such clear morality. Sell foreign policy to Russia, Egypt, UAE, whatevs, but sending a Lynch mob for Pence, heck no! Putting out on the first date is fine, but 4th base isn't Christian, for goodness sake, right? Or, gosh, was it just rodent instinct when the ship is sinking?

But, is that even illegal, in this day and age?

In any case, there's always the "You know, the rules about political financing are very complicated" defence. An expression we owe to former Mayor of Paris and later President of France, Jacques Chirac, after it turned out that receiving suitcases full of cash was, indeed, against the rules...

10 million dollar bribe from Egypt Fattah El-Sisi to Trump a few days before he took office.

FBI investigators knew of the possible bribe and located the bank where 10 million in 100 dollar bills were being stuffed into bags.

Why hasn’t this story broke until now?

The Republicans will obviously declare this a fake news story - and a Democratic hit piece that Kamala is trying desperately to help her gain votes.

Why and how was this story, kept from the Democratic community and the Congress for 7 years.

Why weren’t any FBI agents sharing this information or just one whistleblower.

Why did James Comey not share or publish this information.

Why did Barr who had this investigation squashed not secretly share this information to some extent.

Why did FBI Christopher Wray not divulge these details to congressional investigators.

Is there a Maga group in the FBI actively keeping these information secret.

This story is Dirtier than the Mara Lago Documents case.

It has Legs and will be investigated especially if the Democrats take the Congress back.

A congressional committee will never stop looking into a juicy scandal involving Trump.

Especially involving Trump and his family receiving a bribe of 10 Million dollars.

Until every possibly fact or source will see the light.

The real question is how does a brain-dead loser like Trump know who to meet with and who's palms to grease, and who sets up those 'meets'? My guess is that it was the same people who decided he deserved a national TV show that portrayed him as a 'bidness genious'.

Reminds me of no one more than Reagan, that fake-fuck-cowboy B-lister, who accelerated the dismantling of American democracy to speeds never before imagined.

Ronald-Mac-Donald land.

Could be. British Intelligence has long tentacles, and it is well established that MI6 and the CIA often work together.

An amusing tidbit of history is that the CIA funded an animated version of Orwell's Animal Farm, produced in England in 1954. Weird choice of material.

"After Orwell's death in 1950, his widow Sonia Orwell sold the film rights to Animal Farm to film executives Carleton Alsop and Farris Farr. Unbeknownst to her, they were actually undercover agents for the Central Intelligence Agency's Office of Policy Coordination, which was funding anti-communist art for E. Howard Hunt's Psychological Warfare Workshop. Hunt chose The March of Time newsreel producer Louis de Rochemont and his production company as a front organization for production...

John Halas and Joy Batchelor were chosen to direct because of their work on documentaries produced by the Marshall Plan and the British Ministry of Information. The CIA also distrusted American animators and illustrators due to the Red Scare and the Hollywood blacklist. Halas and Batchelor hired John F. Reed, the sole involved American, as animation director from The Walt Disney Studio. They also hired a team of eighty animators from The Rank Organisation's disbanded animation division. Despite their background, Halas, Batchellor and the animation crew were kept unaware that the film had been initiated and funded by the CIA...

Although a financial failure, taking fifteen years to generate a profit, the film quickly became a staple in classrooms across the United Kingdom, the United States and other English-speaking countries like Australia, Canada and New Zealand into the 2000s." - Wikipedia

Trump gave Egypt $195M after the fact (so it's a gratuity not a bribe!) and El Sisi gave Trump 10 mil, so he basically bribed Trump with our own money. You gotta admire it, in a way.

Maybe Trump has not got the $10M back yet?

Maybe Bob Menedez was a possible conduit? (in Trump's feeble brain)

Maybe DOJ can set up a sting to funnel Trump another $10M "donation" from "Egypt/Russia/Saudis/whoeverthefucksoundsplausible"

Can I has DOJ jerb nao?

I've lived here in N. Fl. Forcast while and never used a pest control company, because bugs are a fact of life.

But the summers have turned wetter, especially the last few years and it's driving more indoors. MS. O. decided we needed to get a pest control provider.

So, last week she says the sprayer said he's coming by the next day. I was home and no one showed all week. I get an email saying we were charged for monthly service. I asked why the invoice didn't include a date of service but got some bs about billing cycles being different from service dates. To which I replied fine; but why can't you put the date of service we on your invoices? I really don't want to get the tech in trouble, but I think he just called it in. This is an established company, but all my friends told me we made a mistake hiring them. I'm thinking they may be right.
