Of the few people with Narcissistic Personality Disorder that I've known (not my diagnosis, but a court-appointed psychiatrist's studied opinion), Donald is absolutely following NPD standard operating procedure:
1. Say whatever you want all the time, because you are perfect and whatever you say is perfect.2. When someone inevitably gets offended at your offensive remarks, claim it's a joke. What, you can't take a joke?3. When the offended party points out it was clearly not a joke, proclaim yourself the real victim and demand an apology from the offended party.4. Repeat as necessary.
Edited to add: every person with NPD I've known has also been hard-core Right-Wing. Coincidence?
