Have you heard about how the liberal gay mafia fascists who hate diversity lynch mobbed that sweet nice man, Brendan Eich, who was CEO of Mozilla until he was killed by the evil gay agenda? Of course you have, because whiners gonna whine, and oh dear lord, they cannot stop whining about how unfair and un-American and un-other things it is that Eich must now stand in the unemployment line eating gruel.
I cannot be arsed to read the National Review or the Heritage Foundation or USA Today or anything Trump says on this topic. (Actually I can't even read the whole Wonkette post, which to be honest is quite long for my limited attention span.) And as for Andrew Sullivan: who the fuck even cares.
So I'm just wondering if any of those Pulitzer-level journalists happened to notice the key point here, which is that Mozilla is open-source. It therefore depends on the extensive, ongoing, UNPAID contributions of many many many people, who contribute to it because they think open source is a Good Thing.
And those same people did not feel much like donating their time and expertise on behalf of a company (a for-profit company) run by dickheads who earn very big money from said freebie contributors and then turn around and contribute it to the exact opposite of what those contributors care about: the principle of an open society.
Mozilla is not a standard corporation. In a standard corporation the CEO can give personal money to whatever cause she or he wants to, and so can the employees. And no one should be prevented from doing so.
But do not fuck with ethics and then expect the Open Source community to stay silent.
Yes, score another one for Big Gay's Big Gay Agenda - we took down someone probably - I'm guessing - 99.99999875% of people on the planet have never heard of. Yay us!! From a company 99.99999842% of people don't know of/don't use/have no idea what it is! We win the Internets!!!
You mean, when they weren't quite ready?
Comments?

Eich quit after ten days. Sarah Palin™ is awestruck.
Big Gay? Is that a new Breitbart site?
As fitting of any 2nd rate circus clown, he should be fired...out of a cannon.
Can't anyone fire Donald Trump?
