Strangely enough, I do not recommend taking legal advice from the New York Post. No, disqualifying conflicts do not arise from the fundraising messages of the clients of a judge's relatives, whether or not they passed out in 31 flavors last night.
Ta, Gary. What happened to that famous R rule? You know, "Kids are off limits," even when those kids are middle aged adults? Guess it only applies to one side.

"If I were ye," he called, "I'd not come any closer! Ye'll be sorry if ye do!" Unheeding, the fierce knights drew even nearer. "You're really a-goin' t' get it!" yelled Spam rather unconvincingly." -- Bored of the Rings
"Al Baker, a spokesman for the state court system, said the X account that had been attributed to Merchan's daughter was not hers. Baker said the account "no longer belongs to her since she deleted it approximately a year ago. It is not linked to her email address, nor has she posted under that screenname since she deleted the account."
The handle used in the X profile highlighted by Loomer had been previously associated with Merchan’s daughter in 2022, but the profile Loomer shared said the person joined X in April of 2023, the same month far right news outlets wrote critical stories about the daughter."

I have never had any desire to tweet, and even less so since Lonnie took over, so somebody help me out here.
How is it that anything is being posted to a deleted account?
If someone had a twitter account under the name "Tessie Tudor", linked to an email of "lemonlily [at] gmail dot com", which was subsequently deleted, and then somebody else completely unconnected with me... uh, that person... took a fancy to the name, could they then up and decide to have their own twit account under that name? Isn't that bullshit blue check supposed to verify the person's identity? How would they even SEE it, if the account had already been deleted?
"any judge who issues such an order apparently has to specify that Trump also can’t attack literally anyone else even tangentially related to the case: the prosecutors’ families, the judge’s families, all of their pets, their cribbage partners, the people who own the food truck outside the courthouse where the judge picks up a bagel and a cup of coffee on his way into the office in the mornings"
This is certain to help Trump tremendously and make all the witch hunts go away immediately. Oh, wait. It’s going to enrage the judge, who doesn’t have a legal obligation to prove his damn kids are Republicans to oversee a case involving a “conservative” like Trump. So screw Trump and his bottom-of-the-barrel lawyers who are playing with fire testing a judge like this. I am an attorney, and I’d absolutely hold him in contempt if my adult daughter received death threats thanks to this monster. I’d read the letters into the record, demonstrate that Trump’s attacks were the catalyst for it, and rule that everyone, including Trump, is safer if he’s secured until trial. Clang!!! Mother F’er.
Former President Donald Trump posted a $175 million bond Monday in his New York civil fraud case. Meanwhile, a judge approved the expansion of Trump's gag order in his hush-money case to include the judge's family.
They'll never see that money again. The moment they put that up for his bond, it became his money. If he loses the appeal, he'll see no obligation to repay the bonding company, and, if he wins the appeal, that money's his, and he's not just going to give to some bonding company.
People see him not getting punished appropriately and they think the cases aren’t serious. He threatened the daughter of the judge. Put him in jail for contempt. The only real howlers will be his cult followers and the beltway media. Or are those two things redundant?
They tossed Manafort back into pre-trial pokey when they caught him witness-tampering, aka obstructing justice. Late MS once did a six-month stretch for verbally drunk-threatening the evil neighbors who mocked us as we bore our very large, very beloved dead 5 y.o, dog out to the car. (Couldn’t afford a necropsy at the time, so cause of death was undetermined…) Who among us Wonkers would go unpunished for menacing a public official? Cheeto, that flaccid, petulant PAB and his flying monkeys have the American justice system hamstrung. It’s beyond fucking pitiful…
The rules don't apply to him, he really does think that. This is a serious question. What is the psychological profile of someone who truly believes that? Starting when we're about 3, our mothers started telling us that life isn't fair and it doesn't take long before we understand what it means.
He is absolutely a malignant narcissist, but time and time again he has gotten away with things than any of us would be in prison over. It's time to right that wrong and treat him just like any other defendant. It might not stop him, but at least he will see that the rules DO apply to him.
Narcissistic sociopath. Health professionals called it long before 2016 election. His parents knew of his oppositional defiance disorder when he clocked a teacher & they shipped him off to military school. Sadly, they also left him $400M, so that really taught him a lesson…being an ignorant, arrogant punk pays off, big time.

Is this place open for business?
Didn't you see the lighted sign in the window? It clearly says, "OP N."
It just seems eerily quiet. The last non comment (other than yours) was over an hour ago.
Giant thunder woke me up. Couldn't go back to sleep.
The doggo got me up at 4:30 with an impatience to go out to pee.

Uhm, because sourcing your claims is common decency. Anyone who doesn't should not be trusted.
The claim was sourced, but not linked. Easy to find.

He's doing it for Frito Bugger. You how close they are.
Some consequences would be nice, for once.

Six months after a twitter account is deleted, the name is up for grabs.
Stuff gets cached. Wayback Machine.
And they would not care what name you pick for your account. As long as it is free to use.
Elon actually TOOK someone's account off them to be 'X'.
Well, you'd have to have some kind of super privileges in the Twitter world, like, I don't know, the owner? Motive and opportunity, as it were.

So, if the judge revokes his bail and puts him in the slammer, does he get some sort of prorated thing on all his other bails since he's in jail?

Also, this is a man out on bond, which was a leniency already given to one with a record of inciting violence.

Can't we get that Russian performance artist that sewed his mouth shut to do us a favor and do it to PAB?
I am surprised at the fact that I am actually shocked at him trying to get someone's adult child murdered, and that is what is happening.
I keep thinking that given all he has done I can not be shocked.
But here it is.
Every time we think he's reached the bottom of the barrel, he grabs a shovel.

Enter Susan Collins…………... But he has learned his lesson!!!!! He got impeached!!!!
That’s a big lesson!!
I understand, but I realized I am more disgusted.
