Republican politicians aren’t surprised when the unhinged act on their rhetoric, they know some will, and that they (the politicians) can simply denounce it vaguely and keep right on inciting. They hope it has a chilling effect on people they disagree with, and it’s just about the only thing that inspires donations and wingnut support. They can’t offer any policies that inspire voters, because all the policies they are paid to promote do not serve the vast majority of their own base. This is the conflict of interest they create by accepting huge donations from special interests. It’s a deeply flawed system that promotes corruption, violence and lies.

I wanted to have a go at your comment with a take on The Beatles' "Martha My Dear" as "MAGAt My Dear" because it has the line "Hold your head up, you silly girl. Look what you've done."

But I couldn't make it work.

What is it with the camo? If anyone really wanted to carry out this mission against election officials, they'd blend in better if they wore a nice suit, maybe get a hair cut. A bath wouldn't hurt.

Gee, thanks Donnie, for riling up the worst people in America and siccing them on us. Quite the little mischief maker, aren't you, you foul thing you. May the rest of your days be nothing but one humiliation after another, leading to a lonely, painful destitute death.

I am not at all a fan of excessively long prison sentences and I think they are one of the many elements in our CJ system that need reformed, but two years seems kind of light for solicitation of murder. Obviously that’s not what Stark was charged with, but seems like that’s what he actually did.

Actually the prison system in this country is the largest provider of mental health services.

All these folks who think the second amendment guarantees a right to commit murder -- limited reading comprehension skills, I guess.

Fun fact, dog shit used to be used in leather tanning. Members of the Urban Poor often earned food money by scraping it off the streets and selling it to tanneries.

Even today it's a valuable addition to commercial composting. My local government authority has FOGO (food organic, green organic) bins. Pet waste, including soiled litter, is positively ENCOURAGED. You just have to make sure that any pickup bags are of special compostable "plastic".

Dog shit has its uses. The sad sack POS wanting to murder public officials to bring in fascism...not so much.
