I totally get what you're saying about clothes for larger women, but I want to point out recently (yes, ONLY recently) plus size models are being used everywhere in advertising, and stores like Macy's and Nordstroms are finally carrying plus size clothes. Progress has been very slow, but there is progress, and it's because some people finally realized there's a market for this kind of clothing. When I was eighteen and a model, using plus-size models and making decent clothes for plus size women was unheard of. Now nice clothes for those sizes are everywhere, but I agree there's still not enough. My own grievance used to be not being able to buy pretty shoes. When I was a teenager, I could never find shoes to wear to dances and such, and I'd actually cry about it. Size: 11AA. Now I can get them, finally, and I don't even have to go online to get them.

I have the opposite problem. I have to buy online to get pants (gasp!) and shoes that fit. Other items I can get at stores.
