Drudge: Looking a Little Desperate Right Now

 
 As our fabulous sister site points out, somebody's ironydar is broken:

1. RETAILER MARKETS 'VOTING NOT COOL' T-SHIRTS; URBAN OUTFITTERS AT CENTER OF GROWING CONTROVERSY OVER NEW APPAREL. . .

But as far as we can tell, this CONTROVERSY(!) is about as real as John Kerry's piece of ass (and not nearly as sexy). But who knows, maybe the British papers will pick it up.

(Also, just a nit-pick: The shirt clearly reads, "Voting is for old people," not "Voting not cool." These are two completely different sentiments, as any Williamsburg resident will tell you. If something is for old people, it is cool:  trucker hats , arranged marriages , racism . . . )

UPDATE: A reader alerts us to Urban Outfitters' description of the only-your-mother-votes t-shirt: "Screen-printed on a vintage baseball tee with a drudge-load of irony." It's sad when you have to explain a joke like that. We just hope Drudge is getting a kickback.
