I'm definitely not anti-stripper, I just find it amusing that this group inadvertently used strip club terminology in the service of promoting an attempt to elevate and/or appeal to conservative women.

My mental image of Republic women* has always involved images of Barbara Bush, Pat Nixon and Anne Coulter. I would never characterize that image as "hot."

* And yes, I know it's stereotype, because one-dimensional labels don't summarize anyone in their totality.

That photo of three blonde twentysomethings with the picture of the fuck-me pumps? In the South that is what is known as a Belle Squad. Beware: encounter them on a sidewalk and they will shoulder you into the gutter in front of a bus. On the golf links they are lethal, and in any situation where gin is found bitches will be cut.

What fucking planet do these people inhabit?

And there you have it, a profile of a communications director who doesn’t get a single word of her own quoted in the profile. But she is blonde and trim and pretty.

You know, Dok, the medium is the message.

Year after year. Because the GOP has long since become a circle jerk boys' club. There are not enough women in the place to ever drop them a hint that this is not the way to interest women voters.

What fascinates me is the insight this gives us on how conservative men do their decision-making on matters that are really important (e.g., winning an election): they think with their dicks, not occasionally, but all the time. Mention the phrase "GOP gender gap" and they picture hot chicks in stilettos.
