THANK YOU. I find it endlessly amusing to hear some people go on about "progress" when what they're really talking about it planned obsolescence and endless techie fiddling with things that don't need fixing. It never seems to occur to them that what this might be about isn't "progress" or "things getting better" (THAT"S a laugh) but simply "tech companies justifying their bloated existence by inventing some unnecessary new doohickie every three days".
