They didn't actually liberate the entire prison moon/asteroid, to be clear. Just Worf, Garak, Martok and Bashir, I think everyone else died in the escape attempt?

I just refer to those episodes as FUCK YEAH WORF, because it is further reinforcement that the 1v1 fighting hierarchy in the Trek Universe goes:

1) Data 2) Worf 3) The rest of the galaxy.

Which is both the best and the worst thing about Worf.

Its funny because the guy who created BSG also created DS9, and yes, in the course of any random comment on this post the author gave it 10,000 times more thought than he gave to most of DS9 or BSG.
