My twitter feed full of Sanders memes begs to differ that they’re policy-centered. I was made aware of the snake emoji meme and “give Ilhan a gundam” meme by engaging with Bernie supporters during my canvassing for Warren. On the other hand, I’ve yet to hear a reason why Bernie’s Medicare for All plan is better except for “it just is”.
I finally remembered that early voting is currently going on in my state and cast my primary vote for Liz today. I voted for some other people, too, but I went out to vote for her.
I do, and am happy to do so. I even have a little app on my phone that alerts me every morning with what mail and packages I can expect to have delivered that day so that I know if anything goes missing.
Oh please. Bernie’s supporters lack the wit for irony and more crude and crass to be irreverent. And I would argue that they are the ones who are most obsess about their candidate as shown by the endless gifs of Bernie’s face. I’ve yet to see one who can argue why Bernie’s plans are better though.can you tell me if that’s a sign of an informed support base rather than a cult of personality?
I beg to differ that plans are not important, If you’re a general you deserved to be court-marshaled for leading an army without a proper plan and if you can’t articulate your plan to your troops. It doesn’t matter if you have superior numbers if you’re just getting your troops mowed down by your incompetence. Having proper plans gets you results even when numbers are not in your favor, gives your troops more morale and helps recruit competent people. Even this talk of revolution when people will finally rise up is so half-baked. I would take an actual strategy rather than calling for outright anarchy any day.
While it would be a bonus if she smiled while flensing and eviscerating her opponent, I'll gladly settle for 'only' flensing and eviscerating Donald Trump without smiling.
