There was no Project 2017. Trump bumbled and bumbled, got tax cuts done and then killed a lot of people when he bumbled Covid.
Now it doesn't matter what Trump does. Project 2025 took care of that. He can bumble all he wants. He can even die. The Project will go on. Musk will go on. It will never stop unless we figure out a way to stop it.
President Musk and Press Secretary Trump. My wonder is how will the stock market react to this unprecedented event with fairly unpredictable consequences?
Wanted to share this piece with you—it’s about how we keep falling into the outrage trap and how to fight back strategically. Would love to hear your thoughts.
This is an active hostile takeover they have moved in beds on the floors where the databases are located because they are working 24 /7 to bring America to its knees
So a bunch of randos who haven't undergone even the most rudimentary clearance procedures or oversight have locked government officials out of a national computer system that literally contains private information on every citizen in the US and none of them have any idea what they're doing with the data.
And where is the FBI? How is this not a direct threat to every citizen and national security?
Just keep calling the Muskrat “President” until Donny can’t stand the competition and diversion of attention from his almighty self. Musk will get fired faster than one of his rockets and probably blow up, too. Are you not entertained?
Why would even one democrat vote for Doug Collins? With a few exceptions, I am disgusted with Senate democrats. I called Mark Warner’s office yesterday and asked why he voted for Jahn Ratcliffe. His staffer told me that Senator Warner has the discretion to vote for any nominee the way he sees fit. That was not the question I asked. I have come to the conclusion that we are on our own. The only way out of this mess is through the actions of “we the people”.
It will take personal action by everyone. My take on things is that trump is a puppet of Elon and the oligarchs. So I am taking my tiny steps to hit at them. I canceled Amazon Prime and I will not order anything from amazon again. I am done with Apple. I deleted all my Google apps. I will never buy a Tesla.
In the grand scheme of things these steps are pathetically insignificant. Just as my calls to Kaine, Warner and Schumer were. I won’t give another nickel to Act Blue. I will only support individual candidates with a spine. I don’t kid myself that my paltry $50 contribution carries any weight when Elon and the oligarchs give hundreds of millions. But if others did the same, maybe it would make a difference.
Relax -- Elmo The Electric Apartheid Nazi is just working on transferring all of those payments to BitCoin. Sure, the folks relying on those payments are going to have a few transaction fees converting from tired old U.S. dollars to wired Bitcon, and maybe some losses between the time they are given their coins and when they can actually access their wallets, but that's just the price of progress.
A bit OT but kind of related - more and more people are getting left behind by technology advancing at breakneck speeds. For example, I work at a charitable foundation that now requires candidates for aid to make appointments via smart phones scanning a QR code to get to the website to make the appointment. Sometimes, these are people who live on the streets. Where the hell are they supposed to get smartphones? How are they supposed to pay for smart phone service?
BTW, the person who founded this organization 40 years ago had a system where clients could walk in for assistance, but they could also call and make an appointment, IF THEY HAPPENED TO HAVE ACCESS TO A PHONE, but it didn't have to be a smart phone. And they could still be helped. The appointment system was preferred for logistical reasons, but it was recognized that this wasn't always possible.
Then there was a change in management, and now we were going to do things "more efficiently." Thus the QR code crap.
Just today, a young woman in tears arrived on a bicycle, her only means of transportation. Because she didn't have an appointment, she was told she had to wait until Monday, then call in to see if she could be helped.

While trump goes golfing…

Scream it out, folks.
Why did the Dems just give up when they lost the election? You’d think that would be a reason to fight harder.

Be sure to add some manual steps that can only be completed on an app. My 96-year-old Dad would love the shit out of that.

Jesus. The tone deafness still amazes me.
Does trump have the dexterity to write?
He uses that large crayon-like sharpie to make some squiggles.
About the only thing he seems able to hold in his hands is a golf club.
Has anyone seen something handwritten by him in the last few years?
His hands are too tiny for writing.
I've never seen his handwriting beyond his signature.
Maybe he's stupid.
Trump has looked like shit lately. I wonder if Musk pulled a Reverse Mob Boss on him.
Unlike Cheeto, Elno’s got the $ to pull it off.
Apparently Elno was not around here during the famous Era of Disgruntled Postal Workers. Just try us, Rocket Wreck boy!
I would not be saddened if someone went postal on that blue-white sack of whale intestines.
