Straight out of a Marx Bros/Mel Brooks movie...

That’s what our MD AG contended (also DC) on behalf of other hotels, obviously to no avail.

Just for the halibut, gonna challenge two smart lawyers we know in this area to see if they could imagine a scenario that would grant standing. First prize: one night in Trump hotel. Second prize: Two nights.

THIS^^^is what makes us both wake up angry every. Damned. Day. Lawlessness in plain sight, grift, graft & unspeakable acts in Macy’s window at high noon...yet no one can touch him legally. It is also why impeachment inquiries, even if not pursued to their non-conviction conclusion, would go a long way toward calming the VERY restive and frustrated devoted (D) base & beat back some of the cynicism that could result in cataclysmic 2020 apathy.

Yes because a nearby hotel started it. Who's suffering if he/she isn't?

Knives Chau will forever be the best fictional movie sidekick character ever.

Not like Trump's voice isn't worse than nails on a chalkboard without the chopper.

Sheeeesh. For the first time in quite some time I am wishing I was a religious believer and could find solace in the idea of justice after death for the good and the wicked. I find myself remembering what Trump's, excuse the expression, "spiritual adviser" Paula White, said back in August 2017. Or maybe it was Jim Bakker, in the same studio with White, but the words were, "Every demon in hell is after Donald Trump."True. They can't wait to get him there.

That’s “A. Marvin Quattlebaum”, to you, buddy...

Your guess as to what the A stands for?

So as I understand it, the only parties with standing to sue Trump over emoluments are those that sought favorable treatment from the administration but didn't funnel any money into a Trump business before doing so.

There must be lots of terrorism laws on the books now. Threats to the public good? lowering the tone of the nation? Putting every vulnerable person in jeopardy? A fox in every henhouse?
