I would recommend that Rhodes's family arm themselves in the event of his release, and be prepared to defend themselves with extreme prejudice.

Extra rant as an actual self identified secessionist: Every honest practitioner of civil disobedience has accepted and freely submitted to the legal penalties for their actions. This brand of insurrectionist simply believes that consequences should apply to others, not to them.

I wish people would not dignify him by using his chosen name over his given name. Elmer should be called Elmer at all times and in all situations.

How do ya like them apples?

Apropos of the Rhodes type: my wife and I have been watching the 4th season of "Fargo", which features a "constitutional sherriff" played brilliantly by Jon Hamm. Trigger warnings galore -- dreadful violence, domestic abuse, and so on. But it's great! All the acting is amazing; Juno Temple, Roy Kent's girlfriend from Ted Lasso, plays the heroine. The plotting is intricate and full of surprises, so no spoilers.

Randy should take Melania in hand and teach her how to keep her looks.

He's the master of makeup as well.

18 years was always way too short. They needed to have put him away for the rest of his miserable existence. That family has suffered enough from that monster.

Between reading about Stewart Rhodes and Russell Vought I feel the partisan blood in my veins boiling. There are too many sick violent people in this country just waiting for their "chance" to live out their bloodthirsty fantasies and Trump will encourage it.

We have a superpower they don't grok though - we can also use guns and many of us are also trained in martial arts, and they think we're all weaklings. They will find out pretty quickly if they start any shit.

Interesting how such an...err...superior ideology is tearing apart families and leaving its survivors fearing for their lives.

Well, except in situations where the women folk and the children know their place. Then everything is right as rain. Unless she fucks up and cooks green beans, cause she knows he doesn’t like green beans.
