Klein's readership numbers must have dropped. How else to explain his abortion nonsense and hanging out with the pestilent Ross Douthat?

Ezra Klein is an idiot and, not coincidentally, a man. Of course it's fine with Ezra Klein to chuck women's rights out the window of an Acela train. He don't care.

"A mind so fine it has never been violated by an idea." Unless it's a super bad idea. Like this one.

"Ezra Klein is an idiot and, not coincidentally, a man."

Don't tar the rest of us with Ezra Klein and particularly Ross Douthat. My view is that since women bear the fetuses that turn into children at birth, women get the sole right to decide whether to abort or carry to term. Many men feel this way.

Oh and one more thing, when I want a man's opinion on women's abortion rights, I'll squeeze his nuts.

"when I want a man's opinion on women's abortion rights, I'll squeeze his nuts."

Try it. It will go badly for you.

Since I have as much right as you do to express an opinion, my view is that since women have the sole responsibility of bearing a fetus, women retain the exclusive right to decide whether to abort or take that fetus to birth, when it becomes a baby. It's your right alone, not that of men, and certainly not of legislators and governors and presidents.

This Klein guy is out of fucking touch with reality.

Did any of those earlier anti-choice Dems actually get any crossover votes because of their stance on abortion? My guess would be no. The people who are hardcore against reproductive rights are also against almost anything else a liberal would support, from healthcare to taxes to immigration. They're anti-abortion because they're also anti- a bunch of other shit that progressives defend.

I think Ezra Klein is a concern troll. Once a quarter he spews some "controversial" crap in a bid for attention/relevance. He should stick to polling... Or learn how to correctly again.

I think the Democrats should run on a platform of banning Ezra Klein (and only Ezra Klein) from getting health care, in order to appeal to people who are moderate on the Ezra Klein Debate.

Some people have warned that if I'm willing to abandon Ezra Klein, that I might throw further people under the bus, and indeed I have previously advocated banning other centrist pundits from getting health care.

Ezra Klein keeps insisting abortion rights are unpopular while abortion rights keep winning at the polls. It’s like watching a guy bet against Taylor Swift tickets selling out. At some point you realize he’s not doing analysis, he’s just committed to losing the bit.

Ezra thinks it’s 2005 and that Howard Dean’s “50-state strategy” will win back conservative Dems.

The people are pro-choice, but a large number of them still vote Republican because they don’t see the issue as affecting them personally because they can’t get pregnant. This is how abortion rights won 57% of the vote in Florida and Trump won 58% on the same ballot.

Ezra is chasing voters who no longer exist or are no longer persuadable.

That being said, everyone who DOES care about abortion has already made up their mind. Dems spending too much time and energy on abortion rights is preaching to the choir. It's vaguely pro-choice voters who are unhappy with Trump, but aren't sold on the Democrats who will determine the next election.

I've been amazed at how many maga women say they believe in pro-choice ...except of course, those murdering their babies after 9 months of gestation. lol AND how many maga women who have told me they have had at least one abortion...but don't tell anyone. smdh OR their 14 year old daughter had one, but they flew her out of the country so nobody would know. smh (People with money don't have to worry about the laws in the USA, they just fly to another country.) So many maga women have had abortions, but their families don't know because the consequences might mean they are disowned. smdh

But I think it will be independents who will decide on the winners. Democrats should really think about how they treat independents. They are as likely to not vote if they hate both Parties, imo. And those who want our democratic republic back might want think about the independents who might be deciding their futures. Or I'm totally wrong, and magas will win...In that case, it's a good thing I don't have that much longer to live. :(

Why don’t we try “hey men, you don’t need Viagra or Cialis for limp dicks, be your authentic self and support Dems for limp dicks.” For a privileged white man to wade into a woman’s body autonomy, Ezra Klein does it with the flair of 10,000 failed men.

I wonder what happened to Ezra Klein. I used to think he was one of the smart ones but now he seems center-right.

Ever wonder why center-right podcasters are migrating to the “failed” democrat party? They want to re-imagine the GOP (which is gone since MAGA purged them.

Remember that the New York Times was always a right wing paper. That is where he came from. They have sanitized and cuddled Trump while landing a few blows. Ezra will write his next book on the benefits of both sidesism. Basically what he says is don’t blame Mussolini for being Mussolini.
