In Nazi Germany killing Jews by the millions was legal. Actually, it was policy and even many non-SS personnel were forced to kill at least one Jew in order to -- A) bring the regular army in on the crimes and, B) spread the "burden" around because even a number of sociopathic SS personnel developed severe mental issues from having to shoot women and kids all day long (this was before the use of rat poison was introduced for mass killing).
If nothing else, I can't even afford to spend the night in a hotel within 5 miles of the house I grew up in. Traffic, destroyed water, homeless people who make 6 figure salaries.
