I am going to assume that when Kim Kardashian and lard ass met to discuss pardons, they had to compare fat assess. I am sure lard ass won. I've seen some big assess on black people which are enviable, but his looks like someone pumped a 747 full of silicone into his butt temples (where his thinking is done). We need an intervention by Benny Hinn to restore his ass, and while you're working on it Benny, try to "return" him to normality. Where's baby Jesus when you need him, or her?

Let me offer up a little help for the logically challenged: I did not criticize cross-country jumping on horseback, therefore I did not open myself up to criticism on that front. Carlos Sagan criticized baseball (rather ignorantly) so he did leave himself open to criticism with regard to baseball. See how that works? BTW, I grew up on a horse and I will race you to the end of the pasture any time. And I am also 63 😁

I was responding to the blog. If your ego demands that I put your name in lights, I’ll play along. I was also chosen near the end. I dealt with it, and without a therapist. If anything it gave me more of an appreciation for the athleticism it took to play the game. That woman in my avatar is my wife of 15 years. I’ve been faithful to her since the day we were married and love her more every day.

Wait, so you DO want a blog to get in a batting cage? Now I'm confused.

Baseball is a sport, but to be fair, not all baseball players are in shape. Take Matt Adams (in his first couple seasons with the Cardinals, anyway). Dude was a power hitter but looked like he was having a heart attack if perchance he had to run to, say, first base.

Who said anything about being fit? Carlos said baseball isn’t a sport and I said baseball players are indeed athletes. Yes, you may have the occasional athlete who is not fit but he/she wouldn’t be playing pro baseball if he/she wasn’t an athlete. You can have someone who is not fit in any sport (hello-golf).

Joe Cocker, who was actually my neighbor, was not disabled. He once said that he felt the music in a strange way. When he wasn’t singing he looked completely normal. I used to see him jogging up our road every day.

You seem to have a problem with association. However you do have a talent for avoiding the point; at least my points.

Ah, you correct Sir! I was focused on Carlos’ knock on baseball and my reply to him. BTW, I agree with the rest of Carlos’ piece (minus the hit-job on baseball)

Well, yeah, but people do get hurt, probably more so than in American baseball.

I was on a business trip in the UK and learned enough about cricket to know that I don't really want to learn about cricket. Did you know they can have a 3 day match that comes out a TIE!?!?!? You've played for THREE frickin DAYS and you can't figure out how to have a damned tie breaker? That's some weird stuff, man.
