The strange case of Leland Yee, the Democratic California state Senator charged with bribery and corruption and general terribleness Wednesday, lends itself to media analogies. The Escapist decided Yee was a character from Grand Theft Auto, which works nicely with his previous attempt to ban the sale of violent videogames to minors.
Too bad he's not in the wingnut party. He could swing into victim mode immediately, claiming the liberal press was out to get him. And get a standing ovation to boot.
