You left out the WSJ “analysis” about him being “master of putting powerful people on the spot.” But I wouldn’t blame you for being under the table by then.

It is physically painful to have such a dumbass for president.

"Sir! News from Moscow. Urine trouble!"

"I am? Me?"

"Sir", tears welling "Yes and No Sir!"

"Is this..."

"You're soaking in it, Sir."

"Shit!"

"No Sir! Guess again..."

Tim Scott. You flubbed your lines.

I like how Powell really doesn't want to be in a frame with 47.

Real money says that was fed to the “reporter” ahead of time by Miller, Cheung, or one of Shitler’s other lickspittles.

Scott’s naked toadying deserves to be immortalized as a South Park character.

Isn't part of the reason for the cost overrun that somebody in the Dumpy administration insisted that they use white marble in large quantities rather than glass? It might even have been somebody in DOGE. I admit that I am not entirely sure of my facts, unlike Dumpy.

I thought it was gracious of Powell not to comment on the fact that the building that Trump got wrong was not just finished 5 years ago, but was completely constructed and paid for during Trump's first term.

Also, not calling Trump an odious buffoon.

Unfortunate. The time of graciousness has well passed.

Only reporters who routinely kiss his ass are allowed to ask Dear Leader questions now.

Can anyone point to a Trump project that came in under time or under budget.. I didn't think so.

Chairman Powell had a perfect opening to tell trump he doesn't hold the cards, and then keep repeating "you don't hold the cards", just to see if anyone notices.

RRJKR's avatar

Everybody keeps trying to be too polite when dealing with Trump A better tactic would be a sucker punch and a kick in the nads.

RRJKR's avatar

Perhaps. it should be pointed out that the Trump Taj Mahal cost nearly double the initial estimate. Ballooning from $674 million to $1.2 billion, it was still never completed, and was eventually sold for 4 cents on the dollar.. Thank you for your input Mr real estate mogul. Mr expert construction manager!!

" ... He’d forced Japan to ... open up to free trade, which no one in history has even thought possible."

Not that I'd expect him to know this, but Sondheim wrote an entire freakin' musical about that, set during the reign of QUEEN VICTORIA
