A video they have put out illustrates how Good did not drive into Ross, and how there is another low resolution video Trump and others claims shows she did- but that when the two are seen together, it's clear that claim is horse shit. They also show the agents refusing medical aid, and refusing to let a doctor through to check on Good after she was shot.
Forget who it was that said something about how you can be oppressive and corrupt as all get out, but touch people's wallets and that is when they grab the pitchforks.
Ah, yes. The leopards have finally arrived for Brendan Carr. The very companies he worked for, paid him huge fees, and he tongue bathed over the years are now turning on him as FCC chairman.
What a colossal fucking dullard. I hate hearing what these oh so stupid people opine about the world I work in (Federal acqusitions including requirements development, did it for DOD and now for DOT). They're so confidently ignorant.
Wait, since when is Microsoft a big player in the AI industry? I mean I'm sure they're running it same as everyone else, but I hadn't noticed them being a particularly big name in the madness.
Also, Trump is not a primary source for anything ever and I have no respect for any publication that tries to use him as such.

His secret police are terrorizing American cities and he wants to build monuments to himself by tearing down existing historic federal buildings - including the Federal Reserve. How much longer are you going to allow this to go on? Start impeaching his underlings for undermining the rule of law. Kicking under-16s off the social platforms is tempting, but it ignores the root of the problem: the older generations who made them so toxic in the first place
Axios is reporting (I just read the headline; everything else is blocked) that some no-account GQP taint-licker is putting forth a bill to allow The Homunculus to do what he likes to annex Greenland.
Hypocrisy obviously means nothing to them, so this is not why I observe the following, but it's weirdly satisfying to see them validate every single belief I had about their characters before this foetid blancmange became their god-king. Just had a thought: if the protesters of the murders pulled another J6, the country would be locked down under martial law, and those on the right would consider it justified.
Good early morning, friends.
I am up in the night because last night my coals were not sufficiently burned down to lay the night fire, and so I decided it would wait until morning. But I got up to pee, remembered the fire and decided to keep it going. Came down and found the coals were very low, so stirred them to life and put some small pieces of wood on them to get to the just-right point, and am awaiting them burning down.
Máebh asked to go into the playroom and I opened the door for her. Serendipity was urgently hungry, and after explaining a few times that it isn't breakfast time, I decided she knew more about her hunger than did I, and caved. So I'm on the couch, reading, waiting, and I hear a noise, and identify it as the cat wheel, and go into the playroom, and there is Gryffn on the wheel. As soon as I arrive, she makes eye contact and then commences to run-run-run, big leaping grabs for the vertical moving wall in front of her. So I sat down and admired her, and she showed me how fast she could run, and eventually had enough and left, and I shut the door once all the cats were out.
And this leaves me pondering. What is it about the need for admiration on the cat wheel? Alice is the same way. She will sometimes putter on it when I'm not there, but as soon as I arrive, the eye contact and taking off on push-to-the-limit running, collapse for a bit, then off running again. Not what I envisioned when I put this thing together.
Looks like my coals are ready for wood, so I'm going to load the stove and go back to bed, and then I'll tell you how the story ended with the wood stove replacement. (Spoiler: it didn't.)
I still have the door on the left. I thought of you when I posted earlier, and I am truly grateful that you kept that piece in circulation.
Back before Christmas, I went to the local stove store and asked for some stove cement so I could do a temporary repair on the door. The men that sold me that was the same man who opened that store probably 40 years ago. His wife was with him, and I could tell she was managing him a bit, and that he was probably going through some cognitive decline. He sold me some gasket sealant instead of cement, and I didn’t realize that until I got home. But it was right before Christmas, cold, closures, and I thought well maybe this will work instead.
I used it and the stove functioned even worse than before, and that was when I decided I had to go ahead with the purchase. But then I realized I couldn’t get the layers to close properly at all, and I saw that the gasket that was in there had completely burned out.
So I pushed the pieces as tightly as possible, including from the inside, and I shut that door and left it alone. And I started using the front door instead.
And it has held an overnight fire every night since then, except last night when I didn’t put wood on before I went to bed. But it still had coals.
It still needs a rebuild, but I can see getting through safely until spring with this.
And lest you worry about the older couple, the store is prosperous and beautiful and well staffed with younger people. I didn’t get the sense of them being there because they needed the income. More that of his wife taking him there during the day now and again so that he could feel useful. He greeted me at the door with a hello, but I don’t think he recognized me and his wife prompted him, “you remember OTOH…”
Time, the rat bastard, nibbling away again. No hard feelings about the mistake It was nice to see them both. Anyway, no new stove for me.
