I love that the only consistent response cops nationwide have had to the argument that they be defunded is to keep doing shit that should lead to them being defunded.
It's rule number 3; right behind:1) Every gun is loaded, and2) Every gun is loaded until you check it yourself, even if the owner checked it in front of you.
It is my very firm belief that “thin blue line” paraphernalia should be grounds for dismissal from the force along the lines of swastikas. For police to other themselves like that will never end in a positive outcome or just policing
