Florida’s Vigilante Justice Community is likely mourning the temporary loss of a friend this week, since he is IN JAIL for the so-called "crime" of choking out an old black dude who was legally carrying a gun. According to the Hillsborough Sheriff’s Office, 62-year-old Clarence Daniels was entering Walmart with his legally concealed firearm to buy coffee creamer on Tuesday when he was spotted by 43-year-old vigilante Michael Foster.
The New Black Panthers regretfully decline to serve that role this time around, due to an newfound unwillingness to be shot dead by everyone from police to random white citizens in the process: "Yo liberal white folks: the fire this time is on youall."
... and ended up with a life sentence, no parole, like every other black person who has fired a gun and then tried to assert the Florida Stand Your Ground law.
I don't think black people get to stand their ground, unless maybe it's against a muslin. We'll have to wait for a Florida jury to answer the thug vs. terrist question.
Eventually we'll all order everything online from Amazon and just have their drones drop it to us behind our battlements and inside our moats.
Still here in St Augustine (a college town so fairly sane) in North Florida. Our conundrum is (a) if we go any further north we are in The South, and (b) if we go far enough north to be out of The South we will freeze to death and also die of starvation because high cost of living <i>New England we are talking to you</i>. So here we sit, feeling like we <i>are</i> the last sane people in Florida.
