Every small business goes through something like this when a patron refuses to use the item purchased as intended and/or refuses to read and/or follow the instructions My family sells power and woodworking tools. Some power tools have safety features that get removed by the consumer. When they get injured theyve refused to follow the directions by removing the safety features.
The stupidity itself is a kind of toxicity that seems to be killing people.
When I lived in Egypt I bought milk that was pasteurized and sold in tetra packs. It tasted the same as regular pasteurized milk. I've been back in the US for several years and still buy milk that way. It's simply pasteurized at a higher temperature, and it's great because an opened liter of it keeps in the fridge for up to 3 months. I don't drink it but use it for cooking, so it makes sense to buy it as opposed to regular milk that spoils after a week.
I have no idea just what benefits unpasteurized milk is supposed to have that pasteurized milk doesn't. There are so many food fads out there that it's just a sign that people have lost their common sense. Despite clear warnings, a mother gave her baby raw milk and it killed him. It was so toxic that his vomit and feces made her sick, resulting in a miscarriage. Why would anyone feed their child something that isn't safe? Why isn't she suing RFK Jr.? Is it because she can't blame her own refusal to think for herself on junk science and quackery?
I wouldn't be so quick as to just write this woman off as being at fault for her own stupidity. She may be intellectually or educationally challenged, or ... just so bombarded with "information" (good bad and indifferent) that she just has to accept what she's been told.
The problem solves itself, just like being unvaccinated: People will get very sick and some will die. Now the RFK Jr has fired the health inspectors this is going to be much more wide spread.
And the vector by which she contracted the bacteria from her toddler was….
Eeewwwwww!
What does it take to get these idiots to WASH THEIR HANDS?!?

You wrote: "... we encourage them to not eat raw sewage."
For the record, I'm 68 and I don't recall ever having done that. Should I hire an attorney?
You can’t fix stupid.
But you can lessen it by not nominating dipshit looks like RFKJr

I wish people would stop saying "raw milk" when they mean unpasteurized milk. Pasteurization is not the same as cooking.
Exactly. And people seem not to understand what pasteurization does.

The person ultimately responsible for Maddox’s dead kid is Maddox. Boy, I sure feel owned. How about you?
She should be charged for negligent homicide

Several states have made selling raw milk in stores illegal. Again, this is Floriduh. They're all about choice as long as it's not "woke."
