I too went through 12 hours of induced labor and dilated all the way to '1'. Hubby (who had been a surgical tech) wouldn't allow the epidural. He said he had seen too many disasters.
I had an uneventful C-section that the doctors allowed hubby to witness because of his background. Usually that's a big no-no.
It would be nice to think that they die, get to the waiting room and Jesus is there to personally smack them up the back of the head and send them to the hot place, yelling 'not in MY name' all the way
