That's the shocking verdict from the Second Circuit Court of Appeals, which ruled last week that television networks can't be punished for broadcasting the vulgar remarks of our nation's precious attention whores, because Bush and Cheney speak only in foul-mouthed threats that are not exactly sexual in nature.

See, when Bush and Cheney describe how they "fuck" Saddam or Patrick Leahy or Iran or black people or New Orleans or the working poor or the Constitution or the federal budget or the middle class, they aren't exclusively talking about ramming their penises into the orifices of these people, documents or places -- although that is, at least, a ritual component of the actual plunder and destruction.
