Basically, Disney is putting Fox out of the programming content business, which they were never that strong in to begin with. Disney didn't need any more owned/operated TV stations or cable outlets. The dirty secret about Fox Network was they only produced about 20-25% of the shows that ran on the network. Hell, when House was their #1 drama, it was produced by NBC/Universal.
