zackly. there are choices, and there are things you can do before burning it all down. forget the ps, forget the gaullists, and let's not talk about the nazis of the fn. if things are really so bad, look for new blood and give these people a voice, and also let them know what you need them to pay attention to. la france insoumise had great promise, needed people to get behind it and amplify its voice.

I think you overlook the longstanding French popular tradition of what the syndicalists came to call "direct action." The truculence of the sans-culottes is well-documented. Previous mass action has previously halted various austerity measures.

Marcon has had a run of success of ramming through "reforms" of the labor market and taxation (cut on the rich, raised on everyone else, mmmm... where have I heard that?). Until now.
