Friendship Raffles and Fur Boa Crotch

• The Chocolate Lovers Festival is happening this weekend, Feb. 7-8, in locations all over Fairfax. The events sound lame -- a "friendship raffle," a Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast, and something called "Scouts and Crafts" -- but the concept of free chocolate completely overshadows embarrassment. • Everybody knows that anything called a "lounge" in DC is a stomping ground for trashy girls with fried hair and toolbags in Affliction shirts. • New: Ben's Chili Bowl, DC's biggest attention whore, has opened up a new restaurant, Ben's Next Door, which is located literally right next door. It's comfort food on fancy plates, with hand-cut instead of frozen fries, but you can still order the chili half smokes from Ben's Chili Bowl right to your table.
