The amount of money and time they waste nickel and diming the poor is obscene

Ta, Dok. Being a Welfarian was harder than any job I've ever had. When my SNAP benefits were wrongfully cut off, I dropped 15 pounds. I got emergency SNAP and emergency cash, but that I had to go through that in the first place was degrading, humiliating, and painful.

i hate that we villify people who need a bit of help to get them to the same point as the rest of us (i.e. being able to eat and live in a house)

I'm familiar with snap procedures. Nobody who gets snap gets more than they should. The agency knows everything about you. We know your wages, new job, unemployment, social security, lottery winnings. benefits in another state, criminal convictions, active warrants, child support. The only possible dodge is people who work for cash, and don't report it. and they will suffer plenty when they turn 65 and find out they aren't "vested" for security security

Remember when then-Governor Batboy in Florida imposed drug testing requirements for anyone receiving public assistance? And of course, after it was implemented, they discovered, surprise! The costs of administering the testing outweighed any savings they gained.

Republicans don’t care if their ideas actually save money. I doubt they even care much about fraud. I mean Batboy himself stole more money from Medicare than anyone else in history. And they keep rewarding him.

This is all about vilifying the poor as lazy, shifty, drug using frauds. The more they cry “massive fraud!” the more they can justify the next round of draconian cuts to pay for yet another tax cut for billionaires.

I would be unable to serve on any jury asked to convict someone - anyone - of stealing bread a loaf or two at a time. Also, for sleeping under bridges.

"Criminals exist so we should torture the poor."

"Why don't we just arrest the criminals?"

"Well, we need to torture the poor to confirm all the criming, because we can't prove it right now."

"So the numbers are just pulled out of your ass?"

"No! This is our reality and we should be given the chance to bend reality to our version of it. I mean they're just poors, it's not like we're hurting people."

Because there are SO MANY people to whom a $6/day benefit they don’t deserve is worth possible jail time! Maybe even $12, if they claim their dead nana!!

That’s the thing…most Cultist idiots don’t realize how pathetic benefits like food stamps really are. Nobody is living the high life on food stamps, or Medicare, or welfare, or even all three. At best their family isn’t starving, and isn’t that kinda the low bar we should be trying to exceed, as a grown-up nation?

What it is , MAGA blames the government tit for making it possible for their worthless piece of shit

40 year old kids to sit at home and play xbox all day. If it weren't for that, they would have jobs and live somewhere else.

I am going to do some math here. 120 fraud cases out of 42,000,000 equals about .0003 percent. How small a number is that? Well for comparison, .0003 percent of a person's entire lifetime is about two hours.
