Getting the Earnestness Out of the Way

On Monday, bloggers across the country looked at the devastation wrecked by Katrina and asked, "What can we do?" More specifically: "What can we do without having to leave the house? " We're up for anything that doesn't require getting dressed, so we decided to pitch in with the lifting of the finger idea they came up with:  Hurricane Katrina: Blog for Relief Day . Give to any charity you'd like but we ask you to consider tossing a bone to the Humane Society -- no one in Washington likes people much, anyway. And everyone loves dogs.
