TUCSON, Arizona — The mother of Rep. Gabrielle Giffords has told friends and family that her daughter could be released from hospital as soon as Friday, according to The New York Times.
In an email, Gloria Giffords also said that the congresswoman has started to look at get-well cards and scrolled through photos on her husband's iPhone.
It is really hard to fathom what may or may not be implied by any of this, so we will just shut up and say, "Hope you keep doing better than anyone ever expected, considering NPR pronounced you dead and all." [ MSNBC ]
