The Rockettes came close. OK, not really all that close, but still proof that they're with the Illuminati.

That's the genius of using the triangle -- nobody sees it for what it is. Except for the Becktards. They seem to have a real genius for seeing right through the whole plot.

Heh heh heh . . . I got a blue canary nightlight from ThinkGeek, which I have, of course, plugged into the outlet by the lightswitch, so it watches over my kitchen.

DeMolay? ... well, now that you mention it, Jacques de Molay was Grand Master of the Knights Templar. The papacy was based in France at this time, so was under some control of the king of France. De Molay was a friend of he king (Philip IV ) and of the pope (Clement V). But based on rumors and self-interest (Philip was indebted to the order) the knights were rounded up and tortured until they confessed to all sorts of things. From Wikipedia:

As for the leaders of the Order, the elderly Grand Master Jacques de Molay, who had confessed under torture, retracted his confession. Geoffroi de Charney, Preceptor of Normandy, also retracted his confession and insisted on his innocence. Both men were declared guilty of being relapsed heretics, and they were sentenced to burn alive at the stake in Paris on 18 March 1314. De Molay reportedly remained defiant to the end, asking to be tied in such a way that he could face the Notre Dame Cathedral and hold his hands together in prayer.[35] According to legend, he called out from the flames that both Pope Clement and King Philip would soon meet him before God. His actual words were recorded on the parchment as follows : "Dieu sait qui a tort et a péché. Il va bientot arriver malheur à ceux qui nous ont condamnés à mort" (free translation : "God knows who is wrong and has sinned. Soon a calamity will occur to those who have condemned us to death").[27] Pope Clement died only a month later, and King Philip died in a hunting accident before the end of the year.[36][37][38] . Barbara Tuchman' s A distant Mirror describes this as the start of a fairly grim century, but most were then.

I noticed that about the sheriff too. He thanked god and then cited 'sources and methods' to not answer questions about how the takedown happened, like he was head of the CIA. When local law enforcement starts to hind behind secrecy, we have a problem, and just gives wingnuts more motivation to buy bigger guns - just in case.

Her book on the outbreak of World War I, The Guns of August, is probably a bit dated now, but has all sorts of sly, snarky remarks and is a fun read. Her account of the German battlecruisers Breslau and Goeben bringing the Ottoman Empire into the war is quite well done (as a child, visiting her grandfather, the US ambassador to the Porte, she and her mother had seen some parts of the naval exchanges).

That makes perfect sense, because ... umm ... no. No, it doesn't.
